Holy fucking shit. I can see why the dude cried. I feel so bad for him. What an unexpected hit in the feels. This is the kind of chapter that can really elevate a manga.

This is kind of weird, because it both backpedals a bit on how Takeda seemed to be a very very thickheaded kid enchanted with that kind of "cool" stuff, but also makes him so much more of a believable (or, at least, more developed and charming) character as a genuinely kind and innocent kid, that doesn't do "bad" stuff out of malice but out of ignorance, but regrets doing so when he realizes it could have done harm.
