All of the random Twitter posts being on the main page is an abomination that makes the series unreadable. They fixed it for The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses, but it continuous apace for this series, an embarrassment both to the uploaders doing it and the mods continuing to allow it.

I understand wanting a cleaner reading experience of just the tankobon volumes and nothing else. Extras don't interact with the main story and are never even referenced in it. [spoiler for chapter 74] with the small exception of the Valentine's Day extras which got converted into a main story chapter. To be able to read the manga without the extras, I can only recommend getting the tankobon volumes from Seven Seas Entertainment or a PDF version of them.

However, this is not the most prevalent opinion. The majority of people on MangaDex Forums, on reddit, and Discord love the extras. For some people, some of their favorite moments of the manga are in extras. And I understand their opinion as well.

The tweets by Sakurai Norio are an essential part of this franchise. It is a treasure trove of additional content and small details about the series. As a point of reference, the extra "I'm Gonna Say it Today!!" (chapter 28.1: Extra Chapter 21 - I'm Gonna Say it Today!!) is what made this series popular – it went viral on Twitter in Japan with 28K retweets and 121K likes.

It is, though. Because reading regular chapters and extras in separate MangaDex titles would be a nightmare to navigate. This MangaDex title has almost all content by the author for the manga, organized chronologically (with minor deviations plus or minus chapter).

They simply belong on this page.

There are multiple kinds of extras: Twitter mini-chapters, promotional illustrations, tankobon volume omakes, special edition volume booklets, special edition chapters in other magazines or websites. Not every extra would really fit there. Again, it's a very specific thing published on the side by the author.
