Uh... we totally know she has a brother. She mentioned him when she added Kyo's LINE. She has an Otaku Oniisan and she's learned a bunch of anime and game knowledge by osmosis, also read/watched some stuff on her own, it sounds like, based on the occupation visit arc.

But yeah, it sounds way too melodramatically delivered to be a real emergency.
