this is a first for me how a sibling in a manga story of the opposite sex are very much alike. Ive only seen that in western movies, but they're portrayed here like actual proper siblings. its refreshing.

It's not a misunderstanding, he walked away like that because he relized yamada had invited ichikawa once before, when they're not there... The defeated part is the feeling of "my daughter has grown up so quickly..."

Eh, I mean, sort of in appearance, but Hitohito is the epitome of average in everything except emotional intelligence whereas Hitomi is like a physical and social juggernaut. They're not THAT similar.

Amazake is almost always below 1% alcohol, hence why it is often served to children and not usually regulated as an alcoholic drink.

Yeah, I knew I remembered the fact that Yukina (Anna's dad) thought Kyo's family name was Yamada, because he saw him in that outfit that had the name. It makes sense, too- why would he just assume it's his daughter's gym clothes, after all? There was no reason to make that assumption with a kid stepping out of an apartment complex elevator. He could have been coming from any apartment in the building. It's only finding out that's not his family name does he realize the truth behind what he witnessed... that boy was over with his daughter while they, her parents, were out. "They grow up so fast..." kind of moment...

Yeah.. we still have about three more volumes to go, if the anime was anything to go by. This is only episode 3 of the second season, for instance, and the confession is near the end of the season. On average, it's one volume of the manga covered by every three episodes of the anime, for clarity.

Anyway, point is, he still has more growing up to do before he's ready. He'll get there, don't worry.
