Hold up...I was complainin about how they made the valentines event dedicated to an extra chapter but somehow the mangaka did a 180 and put them in a normal chapter?! from the looks of it, they combined two extra chapters and added some of their own.

since its similar to that extra chapter from before, I remember Ichikawa giving chocolates back to Yamada cause "she declared herself to be the boy" or something. it was sudden and unexpected. somehow it didnt happen here, cause she wasnt waiting outside to give chocolate since she already gave em. the face she made though in that extra chapter when he gave her chocolate like that was just sublime!

That moment where she was waiting 'outside' in the extras was at the convenience store, the FamilyMart parody, not outside of school, for reference.

And yeah, what Karloz said, a day is a long time. Both of them said as much at the very end of this chapter, even. You can't make assumptions just because the chapter ended that there's no more Valentines content.

Admittedly, I'm coming at this as someone who came from watching the anime, so I kinda already know...


Adachi thinking his from Moeko was special will be important- remember that. I've been commenting on some of the volume cover arts showing the class as a whole in the past, and I remember vol2 and 3 definitely had Adachi and Moeko pretty close together and interacting. Felt like foreshadowing, oddly enough.


Also, that blue-tinted art, page 15... kinda feels like they're living together, almost, to be honest, there. Giving me serious vibes of when I was still living with my ex as a couple.
