How did Akane manage to see that light while the friend didn’t because of the “crowd”? They were together and I’m sure they’d be looking at the victim intently but somehow only Akane saw it? Furthermore any normal person would ignore it and think their eyes were playing tricks on them. I feel a lot of the reactions are dramatized.
Also the MC saves damsel in distress happened for two chapters in a row, to make MC look “Cool”? I already thought the MC would look cool by being himself. After all people who are skilled tend to look cool by doing their normal daily routine.
I’m surprised MC doesn’t have ptsd, maybe he has a mental buff skill? Any normal person from a peaceful era would have ptsd after having to kill so many times. I hope this gets explained. Having a small arc of how he overcame would make for an excellent read, if it’s well executed.
It’s not bad and I hope it will improve as the story progresses. It has a lot of potential. I’m only questioning/critiquing. I hope this helps. If you’re really curious about the human mind I suggest watching Hannibal.
