What a bunch of degenerate comments on an otherwise great story. A well crafted classic Sci-fi on the cost of survival. More manga and anime should have consistent, thematic and dramatic through lines like this. It makes for very good story telling.

Page 38: Isn't human suppose to be the most intellectual being? Comparing human to microorganism or even plant is insulting. Each of our complex minds have their own will, some people sacrifices themselves for others, some rather die in victory.
page 39: "endless human can be cultivated by cloning"
1st: If cloning is even slightly possible the end of the stories wouldn't happen.
