In a sense it might be an annoyance that he didn't notice the makeover, at least the sister thought so. But Daleth didn't seem to mind, perhaps she saw it as a sign that he's not into superficialities, so he might truly not mind her scars. (Their presence or absence doesn't alter his treatment of her.)

(Bad news would have been if he didn't see her face because he's only looking at her chest, but that doesn't seem to be the case.)
