Celsius is undoubtedly better when working around water, but I still stand by my opinion that for the layman, fahrenheit is the better unit of measurement.
For what the average person does in a day (check the temperature in their home, check the temperature outside, etc) fahrenheit allows for more precise measurement without having to go into fractions.

For someone who is used to Celcius, Fahrenheit are completely nonsensical and have no utility whatsoever.

Obviously I'm not saying everyone should convert to fahrenheit, but it's not without its uses.
