This is an excellent story.
I love the idea of the main character embodying dramatic irony (them being a goblin, we know it, but the random character does not). I wanted to see where she would take the story next.
i realize much of her combat with goblins, then the combat in volume 2, was you developing your skills doing combat scenes. However the character development is what really roped me in.
i felt lost reading through the knights entire battle against nameless goblins, with no real stakes, injuries, or fatalities, until the king finally awoke in the cabin.
i did enjoy her dream, which at first made me think she was walking into the city but seeing the humans as goblins (not seeing the goblin conjurors after the slaughter).
it would have been a cool twist for her to start seeing goblins as humans in her dreams, but her speaking to herself was an excellent scene that left me wanting little. The scene with the half goblin lady was a great touch. I especially liked the scene where she was washing her shirt at the end. We saw it as a somewhat sexually tinted scene, with the irony being that she didnr see it as being anything but a chore to wash her shirt. It’s common for trans people to be ignorant of the effect their bodies have on others. I should add Iam a trans person myself and while I found this manga on e hentai, even though there was no nudity, I was drawn to the character and had to read it all. You did a great job for a single person and I feel you should lean into the changes she goes through.
however her being open about being a goblin lord is a great touch, it introduces the idea of being attracted to her while hating her at the same time (as a possible plot point), though more towards comedy like the encounter with the medic.
iam also really glad you didn’t have the knigh in the cabin be caught off guard, or have his wife be ambushed and slain. That would have upset the feeling of “triumph“ she embodies. I hate when some stories have to include stronger and stronger enemies with loved ones being killed, when we just want a few volumes of the MC kicking ass and being cool!
kindof like how in black butler Ciel will always win in the end. The surprises come from the story, not wondering “will they come out alive or not”….
