Thank you for the chapter!
The man's been around when Luce and Elma both called a multimillion item drop a "miss". Combined with his knowledge of how skilled and knowledgeable Elma and Luce are and how they go out of their way to maximize survivability and efficiency in their group, just being on their good side is an easy way to make money or acquire rare and useful items. The fact that he considers Elma potentially a bigger threat between him and a notably ill mannered B-ranked guild goes to show how highly he thinks of him.I kinda like characters like Celt. He owes Elma and Luce his life, but it kinda feels realistic that he's not going out of his way to risk his neck for them, but will help them with stuff like this.
I find it more jarring when manga has characters that will just trip over themselves to help the MC for much less.
Celt isn't really a selfish guy IMO even back during the introduction, when Elma and Luce hasn't really proven themselves at the time. Now he knows Elma's really damn smart and he can stand to benefit to getting along with Elma. It's more grounded that way instead of characters being insanely selfless.
Thanks for the scans. Just take your time. 👍🏽Next 3 chapters are in typesetting. Sorry for the delay!
the worst is when after you make the dang item a copy usually drops soon after, either that or something betterMan, I know his suffering. Sometimes you have those rare items that don't pop up on the AH much so you go farm materials only to have no one available in town to make it. I've had many days where I'm shouting in town with mats asking if a crafter make something.
i was thinking cute girl but you may be rightBet the leader is actually a golem
Yeah I agree with this "You found my lost dog, I will now give my life for you!" always felt....like a really shallow reason for loyalty. I like the maid assassin girl series where she and the princess who sees each other as soul mates say "I will do whatever in my power just once, to help you when you need me." Not a lifetime follower or a "give my life" vow. But a one-time promise to be there when needed.I kinda like characters like Celt. He owes Elma and Luce his life, but it kinda feels realistic that he's not going out of his way to risk his neck for them, but will help them with stuff like this.
