Aww Nora always thinking of Shuli is the cutest part of the story uwu thank you for the update again! I always love to see how Shuli protect and caring for her family
I wonder if Ohara was actually a good match for Jeremy in the first timeline if both Johannes and Shuli accepted her.
I feel like the Neuschwanstein family is in a super fragile place rn so I guess I can see why the Empress is testing her. It's an all or nothing gambit. If Shuli can get past this, then the Empress would have no choice but to acknowledge that Johannes didn't just choose her bc she looked like the previous Empress. If she fails, then she'll take over the family because that means Shuli's not going to be able to handle whatever church problems are going to arrive in the future.
Yess Nora grow up and whisk Shuli away if she does end up divorcing. Cuz no way I am agreeing to our strong stepmother falling into the hands of the creepy prince
what moonbears said. She's just trying to find proof there wasn't really much of a marriage going on through the letters. That way she can strip herself of the title and the son gets to be the head.
Wow I’m so glad Jeremy isn’t a dense idiot and actually called out the prince for being a creeper. And the way Nora is so genuine omfg that just makes the prince seem even more shady. I wish we could get spoilers for this story
Okay, so maybe Shuli will be the guardian. Or the guardian refers to Johannes.
Or maybe Nora is growing into his role? Ah, nah, too soon.
The prince certainly imagines himself as guardian to Shuli, that's for sure.
...
Dangit, but a fake letter would've been a grand idea. A secret that ties Shuli and Nora.
I'm kinda hoping she could solve this without divorcing her dead husband. Gosh, it sounds awful when I write it down.
I wonder if this is actually a mistake, leaving the family in the hands of that brat is the opposite of what everyone else wanted lol. At least until he got a useful wife.
@Darkmeep it was between that or having a crippled successor that is not favored by the royal family. Either case, their family will be in deep shit, unless the trial outcome is something of a miracle.
