I wonder if the servants really did treat her like an outsider or were actually keeping a distance bc they didn't know how to approach her with the incoming conclicts and the thought the master of the house my not return.

She couldn't feel safe the entire tine, couldn't feel loved, but couldn't blame her husband or her family, and instead misplaced the blame on the child, since while she felt unloved everyone went on and on about her son.

I wish they could have had a proper talk over this.... If her sister were still around, i wonder if she coukd have had soneone to talk it out with...
