I think mini chapters are fine ONLY IF they have a good structure. If they are just chunks if an actual chapter, monthly is far better IMO.

I agree with everyone else, the chapters flow best as a group together and there's nothing I hate more than loading 5 parts to one chapter just for a cliffhanger. I will be patient so please don't feel rushed!
