I think it's a result of 4-pages and people getting upset that stuff wasn't developing between the girls. It feels like every week there's some number of people complaining there isn't enough happening, so now she's moving the plot along by going from other characters perspectives who don't see every moment of their interactions and we're jumping around.
Regardless of some people's criticism of the pacing, that's just poor writing on the author's part now. If she wants a super slow burn where nothing happens she should fully commit to that approach or gradually change the pacing. The sudden massive time jumps are just confusing and kinda annoying

i honestly think that we’re rushing things and as weeks pass, i’m always more convinced that 4 pages a week are not enough if the mangaka wants to make the plot work. i mean, why are they mad? i get it for aya but mitsuki?? why is she mad now? what have we missed? i saw a lot of people complaint that this manga is too slow for a slow burn but now it’s even worse bc we’re rushing things and most of us are confused especially for this reason. If this manga had just 8 pages or 10 pages a week i think that the plot would work so much better. unfortunately this doesn’t depend on me, it depends on sumiko arai and until she realizes that by maintaining 4 pages a week the plot won't develop well, there's nothing we can do about it

It's not that complicated. Aya is feeling jealous because Mitsuki is paying attention to other people and bringing them to "their place" (in her mind) so she feels like she's another one in the crowd. Of course she's not communicating this to Mitsuki. Mitsuki is just as bad because she never communicates anything and she doesn't have the guts to ask Aya. Plus, Aya has already communicated that she's still romantically interested in Mitsuki (even if in a roundabout way), while Mitsuki is starting to feel that but hasn't said anything to Aya that could serve to reassure her. If neither of them are willing to communicate why they're feeling awkward around each other, then of course things would get awkward like this.

It's really not a huge jump. The ending of chapter 100 leads directly into a situation like this. They're still in the same space hanging out with the same people, they're just awkward with each other.

I don't think I've ever seen a third party offering the umbrella share trope :chad:

Yeah, it definitely feels like there's a little too much extrapolation between the scenes right now. Contrast to Piccolina (which has also been jumping from scene to scene), where the chapters are longer and the audience actually has time to connect the dots. Author needs to either lengthen the chapters or link them closer together.

I swear, some of you have the media literacy and patience of a mayfly. We've obviously been doing arcs for a while now, and each arc has our two lesbians explore different relationships stages. We've done Koga jealous of Aya, and now we're doing Aya jealous of Koga. The author obviously wants to explore each stage dynamic for a few chapters before having a conclusion, and moving on to the next relationship stage. This should NOT be so hard to understand.

We're not supposed to want them to rush to the dating. We're supposed to be Narita, and wingman and support them while enjoying the car crashes.
