I know people want Mitsuki to show up to prom but I would love to see Aya enjoying herself with only her friends. I need her to not make her life just about Mitsuki!! (and I need Sumiko to show us more things about Aya that's not related to Mitsuki)

Let me guess, Mitsuki will have some realization or sumshit at that party and go and meet Aya at the party and say some confessions. But to be honest I love Kanna's advice on this. Dont settle for less, both knew the feelings for eo. but also cant blame Mitsuki for this, she just i guess, felt more needed at that kouhai for telling her shes has the potential to be professional. but the sad thing is, she just can't juggle both things simultaneously.

But if realistically, since Aya have said and i think have accepted shes just an important 'friend' its best to meet new people girl.

edit: and by the looks of it, i think its a family problem thing for not doing something to people around that like and wanna spend their lives with them LOL.

and thats the worst people you'd want to meet, just taking you for granted and too comfortable since they know you wont leave them.

Isn’t the “with her” part why she wanted to go in the first place? How is going alone gonna help?

Either she goes alone to have some semblance of fun, or she does not go - which is not only not fun at all, but would also make Koga feel guilty that she prevented Aya from going to the prom.
And I mean, it's not like Koga will not rush back to the prom to meet up with Aya in melodramatic fashion

all the people complaining should lower their ratings, this shit is punching too high of a rating for how much everyone seems to hate its drama, short chapters, potential yuri baiting and 90 releases of endless drama cause they wont talk.
I don't want to lower my rating because I'm not sure if my feelings about the series are just low because of recent chapters. Will I view the series as a whole as good by the end of it? Idk... I just know I don't feel happy with it at the moment. If it's genuinely yuri bait it would still be like, a five, just for how the early chapters felt. Some series you just have to pretend it stopped while it was good for the sake of your mental wellbeing. I just don't want this to be one of those.

I do not understand how so many people are disliking stuff that's been happening and whatnot. There's 4 pages a chapter, if this was a 30 page per chapter manga we'd be at chapter 15 or so. The drama just feels like its lasting longer because it covers a lot of chapters rather than just one long chapter.

Also how tf does anyone think this is yuri-bait, like y'all are we reading the same manga? How does some drama make people think the gayest shit ain't gonna keep being gay, the entire manga is about these two getting together.

I think Aya will tell Mitsuki she’s going to the prom alone, mitsuki will go to the party, but she’s thinking of Aya all the time, knowing she’s at the prom, and the party is really boring somehow, and suddenly Mitsuki realizes it’s because Aya isn’t with her. Her music was all about Aya. Without Aya, she wouldn’t even come at this party, she will remember was because of her she did all of this, if it wasn’t for Aya she would be still hiding herself. Now she will go away from the party, and go to the prom, and she will see Aya dancing with someone in a beautiful dress, and… you know how it ends 😂😂 If I wrote something wrong please tell me
I love how you genuinely said something that the author will more than likely do just to keep the drama continuing

the uncle/kanna side story being told thru backstory is compelling to me..... this manga really has it all....

idk i think kanna's advice is so true to life to the experiences of a lot of queer people. she's like hey, learn to live your life for yourself first, don't let your happiness hinge on the attention from others. to invoke the ru paul quote "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?" but it's important to remember, kanna's also projecting her own experiences w/ uncle onto aya, as exemplified by the last page!!!

i think the phrase "if your heart's settled on 'thats enough for me'" can be interpreted in a couple ways here: either aya's decided she doesnt want to pursue a relationship w/ mitsuki, or she needs to actively needs to consider if settling on being friends is truly "enough" for her. I have a feeling this will spark aya to confront her feelings!
