2- Legal consent is an arbitrary age boundary that doesn't care about actual maturity, and in Japan the age of consent is 16. They're not considered minors.

1- trying to excuse a gross comment by saying “they’re not real” is even grosser and extremely icky

2- age of consent isn’t the same as being an adult lmao. at the age of consent you can have legally sex (even though i believe it should be the age you turn to an adult), that’s like excusing posting pornography of a minor with “ohhh, but they were 16”. this is why we should gatekeep gl from 25+ year old cis men lmao
