its still so early in life to have friend groups and keep all the friendships operational. High school was track/work/core frind groups for me. Military service introduces military and core groups and when i went to college it was each class had friends, while i still talked to the core group from high school and 3 from the military. Now as old as i am, and in my forever career Its wittled down to work buddies(only at work), military, and core. Each group is its own ecosystem and really never shall the group overlap other than weddings or funerals. This concept is super hard to fathom in high school.
