My prediction: Aya and Mitsuki become official and then Joe and Kanna get together and move to America since Mitsuki has someone (Aya) to talk care of her instead of Joe.

Lol the shins album whack. Joe’s a good dude and I don’t think Kanna’s gonna end up being the big drama bomb some folks expect. love this series and thanks for the tl as always!

Man, Uncle Joe is a god-damn real one. I've actually known people like Uncle Joe, and they're cool folks. Chill, supportive, hard when they need to be, but not before...

...Also, and I'm just sayin'...

...Would. So god-damn Would with Uncle Joe.

yeah i dont think there was any way kanna couldve explained the situation in any way that wouldnt make it more awkward so it probably was best to shift the attention onto joe

Kanna, a grown ass woman, going “aight imma head out” while running away from a couple of teenagers so she didn’t have to deal with an awkward situation was the highlight of my week.

Like I said, I would also choose Mitsuki,
Plus, I really don't understand and don't sympathize at all with this fascination for murrica.
It's a delusion, any musician serious enough will try make success in any place, first at all in his own country.
The mentality is more that Japan is a very insular country. It’s very rare to break out as an international artist/actor from Japan.
If he wants the largest amount of people to hear his music then he really would have better luck working as a studio recording musician or back up touring musician in America and try and get an EP going on the side.

There’s sound logic to it. He just realized last minute that he wasn’t willing to uproot his life just to play music, so he opened a record shop instead.

I think a big part is how few japanese people speak english. In order to become popular in Japan you need to sing in japanese, not english, but that prevents international success (not counting music piggybacking on other media's success, like anime songs).
