Okay so I get what you’re complaining about lol. Yes, Koga is appearing more masculine. It’s because she’s feeling more comfortable with herself and expressing her style. There’s a chapter that explains that she was made fun of when she was younger, but now that she’s more comfortable with herself, she’s expressing what she wants to look like. There’s a chapter that explains that she was made fun of when she was younger, but now that she’s more comfortable with herself, she’s expressing what she wants to look like. It was shown very early on in the chapter called "Rhythm B" that Koga always liked to wear masculine clothes and do her hair in a masculine way, however she soon found out that that lead to her getting to trouble in school and she would get attention she didn't want, so she started dressing more feminine in school, but at home, she would still dress in a masculine way (evidenced by the fact that Aya thought she was a guy when she first me her).

However there was an arc in which Koga got unwanted attention in school again (when the video of her playing guitar went viral, and then when the jerk ass bully decided to show her art to the class without her permission). This time however Aya stood up to her and that made Koga realize that she now felt more comfortable dressing masculine in public as well, since now she had a support network of friends.

So in that sense, Koga dressing more masculine is actually her embracing her sense of style and self that she surpressed to the public all those years ago, it is by defintiion her "embracing her true self"

i explained it a million times to that empty-headed socks guy above.
it's not just her clothes or her hair, her face and her eyes also changed in the art style to be more masculine.
to me, that's betraying the character period.

i read manga with a yuri tag first and foremost, and i don't want to see a female character become a guy.
it's clear that the artist of this manga enjoys western values, and the results of the story confirm this.
if you enjoy that, good for you, i certainly don't.
