Cecilia, clearly. So, fellow readers, who's more unsettling?
I think Randolph is perfectly fine as a character, I just don't care about this possible romance with Connie. Neither of them feels like they're emotionally ready for it and it just feels tacked on.I wish I could give a shit about Randolph. The final scene is pretty damn sweet, but I find him so utterly boring that the scene fails to hit me like it should.
No, Conny, you are not unsettling. You are too good for your own good.
Who's uncle Ulcer again?
A branch family of one of the Dukes, they exist to work as Homeland Security for the country. The one that just died was the head of the Ulster house and the leader of the group.who and what is ulster again?
the summary are helping but that's also pretty much the only thing I remember.
The whole point of the other characters is screaming to Randolph that he needs to care about more than his job, so maybe once he does they'll actually start having chemistry?I think Randolph is perfectly fine as a character, I just don't care about this possible romance with Connie. Neither of them feels like they're emotionally ready for it and it just feels tacked on.
To be brutally honest, their romance is the only real gripe I have with the story as a whole. The romance subplot feels like it is just there because of genre conventions and not because it added anything to the story.I think Randolph is perfectly fine as a character, I just don't care about this possible romance with Connie. Neither of them feels like they're emotionally ready for it and it just feels tacked on.
But when I read previous chapters he was definitely lighter. Like comparing 12 and 30 specifically. He’s colored lighter.Look at the covers, he always had a darker tone.
The Ulster is clearly his edgelord backstory - way too edgy to reveal it just like that.Girl knows just what to say. And he is sure ridiculous to blame himself for others around him.
Though, confused, what is an Ulster to the family then?
