@maffo666 - Seems to be a recurring theme in this series to have an archetypical old man bad guy from some 'powerful' family put in his place by smug-smile-angry-brows which leads to a cliffhanger that will be resolved while transitioning to the next. Kind of like those really old school comic books, or even Scooby Doo.

I'm starting to think the MC's face is stuck like that. Like he had a stroke or something.

@maffo666 Sure it would solve something. It would stop at a low level cliffhanger instead of a high level one. Low level cliffhangers are more bearable, so problem solved.
