they have like, brute idaten hayato, smart idaten isli, fast idaten paula and invincible idaten grandma....... if they are the demons, the world is doomed
i think isli is just the mind and strategist of the trio.. he has his own organization and he will be responsible to handle technological attacks and information battles with the demons... cause as far as we can observer, the other three idaten are incapable of doing that

So, a human is pretending to be the demon lord (something that actually never existed before) and creating either modified demons who can pass for humans in human society or modified humans who think they're demons. On the other side, the utterly overpowered idaten (well, one of them anyway) can actually just wipe them out of existence any day of the year but aren't motivated to do so. At least two of the idaten have cooperated with humans or taken over a human nation and are experimenting to try to figure out the nature of demons and idaten.
Given the massive disparity of power between demons and idaten, I have a feeling the demons aren't the real bad guys here despite their seemingly evil attitude. They're just too ignorant.
Also, Prontea is a creator goddess able to manifest ANYTHING, including technology, from thin air. Right off the bat Over M is already outclassed.

@sssr You got Rin wrong, she has the motivation to exterminate all the demons, just doesn't have the ability to track them or even distinguish between them and normal humans, added to that she needs to guard the seal which I guess no new demons or the professor know about.
I'm guessing the demons in the seal will come out and level or even reverse the playing field. Even Rin's predecessors couldn't kill them.

@vangoz The more recent chapters have shown that Rin is not as motivated to hunt down the demons as she looked like back when she went all nuts. Basically, she got fired up, then cooled down as soon as the logistics of the job were presented to her by Isli. The reason she's waiting for Prontea to show up is that the outside world was supposed to be Prontea's domain. So she's waiting for Prontea to come to tell him to do that job like Isli suggested but with the kids in tow, which Isli is trying to avoid. Isli is instead plotting to get Rin to do the job with Prontea and reap the benefits later.
Also, it's still unclear what the seal is keeping at bay. Rin herself made the point that in the past when she was a helpless kid, NO SINGLE DEMON could challenge an Idaten and win, and grampa actually just wiped out an entire bunch of them like nothing in Rin's flashback. It's also unclear whether little Rin was actually helpless against single demons, as the only time we see her being helpless in the flashback was against a bunch of them. So the OP Idaten vs. demon situation is probably the default, or supposed to be if not for the new generation being so weak. The book cover is also showing Isli toying with a naked Pisara, so I suspect the new generation will either power up quickly or figure out their own special ways to handle demons.
The seal is either holding back a gazillion demons or something else more dangerous than demons. That or we're misunderstanding what the seal was for. Grampa did say that the old generation of Idaten would pass away and leave Rin in charge of protecting the world. It could be that the dying Idaten of the old generation sealed the origin of the demons so that no new ones could appear during the time when the last and weakest of them would be left defending the world by herself.
