kind of a long intro to set up a situation, wonder what the rest of the series will be about. if it were me, i probably wouldn't accept. how do i know there isn't a demon lord about to massacre all humans, or their star is going supernova? i wouldn't know the political situation, there could be constant assassination attempts. and who will pay the taxes and utilities for his country cabin for 30 years, unless he intends never to come back.

OMFG!!! That carpet was 4x4 Meters big!? All the things I could bring with that size like the knowledge, technology, agriculture, Science, and many more knowledge from the modern world stored in more than 40 Terabytes of data in video and text, with a very beefy computer; I could just translate them if language is a problem though. I Could've made the empire a superpower there and advance it by leaps and bounds! Sigh~ too bad the MC is just a very tired Japanese Salary man where his wish lies to just "laze" around. Man just 1 year of lazing would be enough and the rest would be the continuation of making tech and a better society.

sure you won't have 30 years of fuel, but I doubt that the hydro pump generator thing will last 10 years never mind 30. He could not afford one that would last for like ever unless he managed to find one in the tr ash or on ebay. It would be better to buy text books and some tools. I know I'd bring my university textbooks for sure as a part of the crap i would wanna bring.

I like how Aura isn't brainless and definitely planned everything out beforehand. She seems much more competent than many female leads in isekai manga. Hopefully she stays that way.

Same, I would bring a lot of books, a spare phone (or even a few? with some SD Cards to store stuff in case one phone breaks), a charger with a portable solar panel (even though reception may not work, I could download blueprints, guides and other things to use offline) and the basic equipment to use for making things; It's not like the other world wouldn't have any precious materials found on Earth and I doubt there wouldn't be a workshop to make something (since everything in this universe have the basic elements; with the fact that he can breathe in the other world proves just that.)

heck, he may even easily bring technological advancement into that kingdom with his position as the Queen's Spouse; so he basically has access to almost every resources they could provide.

Of course, at least a box of my favorite food and drinks since I won't be having that for a while.

The thing bugging me here is "I have no family left. Better visit my aunt, uncle and cousin before I leave." I wonder if it was a translation thing, like a word that was specifically for your own parents and siblings became "family?" The way he was thinking about how he won't see those three again is definitely at least the minimum of what I'd call family even if they weren't actually his relatives by blood/marriage.

He was fairly smart, taking those kind of things with him. Id put into a cellphone (which he can charge with the generator) blueprints/recipes to various technologies (be it mechanical or pratical, such as medicine making) and also bring seeds for food stuff like rice, soy, some fruits he likes and other vegetables.

Oh, and solar panels would be useful either way, be it to use during the day (reducing the burden on the hydro generator) or to charge battery based stuff (phone, laptop, flashlight, radio communicator...). Its not like you cant store solar energy into a battery as well; they sell the whole grid setup for home use.
