Yep, hand 27, foot 26The wrist alone has one of the highest concentration of bones in the entire body, IIRC.

Paywall is irrelevant for illegality lmao. These uploads take so long because the TL group is holding them behind a paywall (illegally ofc), but there is a better way to keep up with releases that you should pick instead 😉
I bet they'll try to continue the surgery too, even though there's absolutely no reason to under these conditions. It's not a life-saving operation and they could clean the wound and have the healer girl close it up immediately. Attempt it again in a few days, preferably somewhere far away from an active volcano...Reminds me of MASH, cept instead of a 'natural' earthquake, it was shelling causing the shaking in that series
Yeah, but that's not equipment he can have a bunch of fantasy-land dwarves make him. Suction alone requires some sort of electric motor, which he probably wouldn't even be able to describe to them accurately enough. Diathermy involves generating powerful magnetic fields, which is even more beyond a medieval level civilization. Let's not even get into where they'd get the power for those.Bro you doing this without diathermy and suction caused me distress. A nick on artery without diathermy, suction, and 7-0 or 8-0 monofilament suture is just asking for trouble wtf.
That's so true for medical drama narratives post MASH. If it isn't a life-threatening condition, they'll just bring up a second altercation that makes it one so they have to continue the op or extend itI bet they'll try to continue the surgery too, even though there's absolutely no reason to under these conditions. Yeah but in this case this just means surgery is not viable lol. It's not worth the risk.Yeah, but that's not equipment he can have a bunch of fantasy-land dwarves make him. It's CTS, there's a risk of making it worse, and I'd agree under normal circumstances (as in, modern patient, modern world) but the dwarf is already unable to work with his hands and considers it the end of his life. Since it's not going to be more viable in the doctor's lifetime, might as well chance it if that's what the patient wants. No ethics board to anwser to, after all!Yeah but in this case this just means surgery is not viable lol. It's not worth the risk.
You've got your second altercation right there already. With how the Festival of Spirits keeps coming up, I bet King Dwarf's hand is going to be instrumental for some silly ceremony or other to appease the volcano, so the whole operation becomes all about saving the village from becoming Pompeii: Fantasy Edition (never mind post-op recovery time). That's so true for medical drama narratives post MASH. It's already instrumental, he's the only one who could mine the necessary material for the ceremony, iirc. You've got your second altercation right there already. That no ethics board sold me lmao. It's CTS, there's a risk of making it worse, and I'd agree under normal circumstances (as in, modern patient, modern world) but the dwarf is already unable to work with his hands and considers it the end of his life. True, completely forgot that had been established already. It's already instrumental, he's the only one who could mine the necessary material for the ceremony, iirc.
