@DopplerK6 ah it's ok, don't worry! I've been introduced to KOF many many years ago through my bestie, and for ages i thought that KOF Zillion was canon (it was early 2000's, so even trying to find infos on the web was almost impossible)... only in recent years i discovered that is not the case, and that also the way they portray Iori and Kyo is often completely OOC.

@ManaSputachu To be fair, Manhwa followed most major plotlines. Defeating Goenitz, sealing Orochi and so on. So I guess people would think it's canon. If only they didn't go over the top crazy with some stuff.

@DoppleK6 it depends which one. Some followed the story to a certain point, then derailed completely. Other starts completely crazy already lol. But yeah i can see why people thinks they can be canon, i was one of those (and the translation in my language made sure A LOT OF THINGS seemed canon even if they weren't). Anyway the manwhas usually aren't considered among the canon comics.

Honestly, the "established character" isekai is something I'd like to see more often. Who cares if some random generic Japanese teenager gets sent to another world with a cheat skill, show me Kiryu from Yakuza getting isekai'd and throwing hands, Solid Snake doing his tactical espionage action in a demon lord's castle, shit like that.
Or an Isekai'd Monster Hunter Veteran casually hunting a large monster for a pants
