Isekai literal translation is different world. This is not a isekai.

The MC has never left his own world and gone to a different one. He had a grave injury in his own world, and whilst his body recovered his mind was being trained by heroes of his own world. He then recovered in the same world but had obtained 1000 years of knowledge all from training with heroes of the same world he came from.

@bidaum No, it is actually an isekai, for no particular good reason.

As of page 6 of chapter 1, "I felt happy when I was reborn into this body... I am a prince! Even though I may be bedridden, compared to my previous life I can now live in luxury" he mentioned one or two things about earth at some other point too, I'd go looking but my internet is garbo right now. Regardless, the page 6 quote proves it to be an isekai, or at least to include reincarnation unrelated to the 1000 year coma.

In addition, the heroes are NOT (exclusively?) from that world, quite a few of them are earth heroes.

You'd be correct to say all his time spent in the hero realm had nothing to do with isekai, but you're wrong because for some reason there are isekai shenanigans that also exist despite not playing any particular role in the story. Easy mistake with how irrelevant the isekai elements are, but they still exist.

@Capid Reread chapter 1, bro. This IS an isekai manga. He was reborn into the body of the prince from our world, and was thrilled because he thought it would be a cool and easy life, then the thing with his stepmother happened, his attempted assassination was carried out, and he ended up in the hall of heroes while his body was in a coma. He trained with them for a thousand years in their time where a few years of real time passed, and was then sent back to his coma body.

It's an isekai AND a returner story. And that's my point. It doesn't need to be an isekai, it's an unnecessary and pointless addition to the plot. There are quite a few isekai like this, where they don't need to be isekai stories.

@bidaum You weren't talking to me, but the same thing I told Capid applies, so I'll loop you into it as well. Reread chapter 1. This absolutely is an isekai story. He was reborn into this world from ours as a prince, thought it would be a cool and easy life, and then got blindsided by the assassination attempt, which resulted in his coma and time compression training in the hall of heroes. He's mentioned earth several times.
