Sure, you can call it "milking" if you want to. I can even call a hamburger a sandwich and noone would come to my house with a block of C4. But this is still in line with their characters, clumsy dumbass who probably fell in love for the first time and overly serious senpai who bonks people for being cringe. Knowing the kind of series she often does this stuff will probably be done in under 100 chaps (which is just....less than 200 pages, literally a tankoubon volume)
