Not to dump on this excellent series but the alignments in this whole story have been so black and white so far it would honestly surprise me if they went with the "Konrad is evil, actually"-route. That betrayal-talk with the father and maid might look like the flag-raising of the century, but I think that's just one of the lessons Leslie is learning to broaden her mind, much like how Acela said she didn't have to get married or how men just have to be cute.
