Again someone, who didn't understand, that the concept of "Yuri" is different in the country of origin than in your mind. This is yuri, there is no need for a romance as in our western understanding, for Japanese, this is yuri.Oh my - father of my dead mother!!! That's a big spoiler šš¤§

I often read comments like this. Is it really so hard to grasp, that there are different understandings because of different cultures?
I do know that I would never grasp the difference between a manga about yuri and a manga about girl friendship on my own as I lack the cultural background. Because of that I just trust the author, native speakers, Japanese publisher or other Japanese readers.
If they say that this is yuri, it just is it.
Edit: Sorry, I missed the fact, that it is about a different mange, but I will stick to my opinion, that a lot of people do not take the cultural difference into account, wehn it comes to the definition of yuri.
