Thanks for the translation!

Ok, so I've been thinking... At the end of Volume 5 we had a climax/cliffhanger that kinda seemed like it was leading to a confession, but that turned out to be a total nothing burger? I don't understand why the characters and story are just kinda going on like that never happened. It's a really unfortunate spot of bad writing in an otherwise pretty good story.
Well at least they decided to be roommates for historical purposes...

We're back on track with the main couple folks!
I love how the turntables. Kanon used to unwittingly get close to Saki and have an effect on her because she's deaf and would read lips or lean close to hear in the special room.
Now Kanon gets a bit of what that's like in this chapter.

I did think the first few pages were a bit strange randomly showing the 'former bullies' stick up for a girl I don't think they really speak to, but all is forgiven thanks to the second half. Loved it.

Confession by who? To Saki nothing changed. To Kanon she's trying to figure if she's changed.

Mmm, I've been wondering about this for a while seeing how the chapters unfolded. I was pretty convinced that Saki did kissed Kanon at the fireworks event, but was also clear that she wasn't expecting Kanon to return it (cue Akira's "it's not like the right kind of love has to be one that is fulfilled"). She only asked that Kanon continue on being friends (watch the fireworks together next year). I had interpreted the bonus bit then, indicated that something did happened which Kanon was telling herself to act normally.

At this point, Saki pretty much accepted and acknowledged her own feelings towards Kanon. Now we're seeing the perspective shifted from Kanon's view. And...we sort of can see how Kanon can be pretty bad at picking up people's feelings, and Rinne even tried to hint it to her. Rinne knowing her own sister, probably also figured that it's best Kanon figure it out herself.

Maybe I'm just in a mood today, but I feel like all the beautiful emotional weaving between the two that was laid down in the earlier chapters has just devolved into anxious screaming now. I just hate seeing quality writing get so superficially trope-y.

At this rate Kanon will be the first to confess
I pretty much expect it will have to be Kanon that confesses, I don't think Saki will ever make the first move in initiating a romantic relationship. Her barriers to that seem to be as strong as Kanon's were to friendship and needs an external catalyst. Real question is if it something like Kanon realizing her own feelings and confessing, or someone outs her.
