Couldn't the sentence in page 10 also mean "because Saki likes them"? It makes more sense in context, and also explains why Kanon rushes to clarify the ambiguity in the sentence.
I mean, as much as I want to see them gay it up, Kanon still isn't quite aware of what she feels, and "because I like Saki" doesn't really fit...
