So in very loud or crowded environments it's like having a perpetual static surrounding the sound... Kinda like those auditive CAPTCHA, or an audio on a windy day and/or like having water in your ears, if that makes sense.
So she probably can heart parts and pieces but not everything and definitely not enough to actually catch the way Saki was playing.

Of course, It depends a lot on the type of deafness every person have, how effective or ineffective the implants will be so this isn't necessary the case for everyone.

I wonder if Saki is either going to come out to Kanon or be outed before they make anymore progress.
