You can see the blast knock him on his ass, he's still conscious but he gets subdued by the one guy pretty quickly, the others probably just ran past him.

Also, iirc his slave contract with Pride/Pryde (I still prefer the old TL names that weren't just the literal words tbh lmao) prevents him from physically attacking anyone without her consent. So once they broke through the barrier, he wouldn't be able to physically attack them anyway.
