Are we talking about "Isekai Scan"? I thought they were an aggregator site themselves, and were banned by MD staff because they watermark every page.

They're an aggregator but sometimes they translate their own stuff ,i have a few manga i follow somewhere else where it is updated by them sometimes ,new gate all missing chapters here are by them ,Kuitsume Youhei no Gensou Kitan ,also they sometimes they upload their version of slime tensei first,ect... ,there are a few other manga but that's all i remember

void has been reckless where they either snipe or gather too many titles without aiming to finish what was started, so I had no hope in them finishing the titles they picked up

Ch 88 was done by a group whose chapters aren't allowed on MD. You'll have to go to an aggregator site to read it. Someone posted a link on the first page.

Didn't think you'd see it that way, well the issue of most scanlation groups is tl's availability and if tl likes the series or not.
The cleaning part is something most people can do and or improve on, I already clean for Dream Inn and though our releases are slow since we're balancing it with Irls we do manage to release somehow

Getting a translator for a project is the hardest task in the scanlation that it's no doubt. As for cleaning and redrawing, some people are fine with just decent TS and edited TL. Most sound-effects are not essential for understanding dialogues or plot anyway.

If people need neatly redrawn sound-effects, ughh, just wait for the officials (if a series even has English license, because non mainstream series get licensed less frequently, right?) In fact, redrawing takes a lot of time and overloads scan groups. In my opinion, it's better to bring faster releases with decent TL and TS.

Tl's and ts's are just a part of the major equation, no matter how good they are some groups dont release until the quality checker gives it a go

There is no right or wrong, you just work as you're comfortable with. When I had a scan (and was green), it was so small that I had no QC, so my KTL gave me screenshots with mistakes manually and I fixed it instantly in PS. Oh those damn times.

It should also be worth noting that "Isekaiscans", the "source" for ch 88 that I found, returns an 522 connection error. I couldn't read it on the TL's group site even if I wanted too. Instead of having to redirect to an aggregator, wouldn't it be better to just have another version on MD?

Sorry it took so long to respond, it took some time to think on it. Also, just know that I aim for less drama, so I'll suggest series that still have a viewer base but weren't completed.

"Junk the black shadow" looks free, "Gokufuri Kyohi Shite Tesaguri Start! Tokka Shinai Healer, Nakama to Wakarete Tabi ni Deru" was dropped from the first scanlator, and a series that in all likelihood could be treated like Isekai Walking, "Isekai no Senshi toshite Kuni ni Manekareta kedo, Kotowatte Heishi kara Hajimeru Koto ni Shita" could be one of the series you pick up. "Fight club kindergarten" to be outside of fantasy, or "Tsuiho Sareta Ore Ga Hazure Gift “honyaku” De Saikyo Party Muso! Mamono Ya Ma Zoku To Hanaseru Noryoku Wo Kushi Shite Nariagaru" as it wasn't translated on this site yet.

As a final word, you don't have to pick up any of the series suggested, though I do think it would do you and your group well to search through tags, pick out something you like that was either abandoned or not translated and proceed from there; you'll build experience, carve out a niche and likely an audience/following with it

yeah, unless the thing's properly serialized there's really no reason not to have it on md, which really doesn't seem like the case

Spoiler: Thoughts for ch. 88

I really like the fact that Shin was completely unaffected by Milt being naked in front of him. This sets him apart even more from other protagonists who would've either fled the scene, exploded in blushes or fainted with a nosebleed. He didn't even bat an eye in the presence of those big tits she's so proud of.

So Milt was a former player under mind control and not a true enemy. She's a PKer, but only by technicality because as a battle maniac she accepts fights to the death and not truly someone who murders for shits and giggles. Probably the first shortstack character in this story. If her hairstyle were any shorter she'd be a high pixie with a pixie-cut.

Filma, a magic swordswoman wearing stereotypical bikini armor and captured in a crystal. That explains how Ixvain fell into the hands of somebody else. I thought she was a player, turns out she's another of Shin's supports! I'm guessing she's been trapped in there and in stasis for hundreds of years, or else she might've died of old age by now seeing she doesn't look like one of the long-lived races.
