An enemy that needed just a little bit more brains than the typical brute force to defeat... is not it. It seems like brute force really won in the end, without us knowing if Lyonne was even able to do something on her end (offscreen? not very likely). Anyway, that "fight" made it look effectively like a training dummy for OP characters. Shin was just testing various attacks on it but he wasn't really in any danger.
