Really wish this had gotten a Anime adaptation.
But it's a short series with the Light Novel already ended, and Manga near it's end.
Very low chance of it getting an Anime adaptation, though you never know.

Feel like it would've had a much better chance if it started out as a manga.

Like I tried reading the LN and it was... extremely bare bones?

Usually a manga adaptation of an LN compresses/removes more than it adds, but in this case the manga really fleshed things out.

I think the funniest example is Thorne. Like he's a super impactful character, to the point and I hoping for him to be the male lead, but in the LN he's just like, a guy in the background. If the scene where he and Remilia first met in the novel was adapted unaltered it'd be like, one panel. Of a several panel montage. He probably wouldn't even have facial features.

Well there are many series which refer to the Manga for their Anime adaptation even-though the source is Light Novel (Web Novel is usually not considered a source, rather it's considered a rough draft).

I mean, ongoing Fall 2024 Anime series like "Loner Life in Another World" & "As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World" are both based on their Manga adaptation rather than LN, primarily because the LN for Loner Life is more PG-18 (MC has sex with a few girls in LN, while Manga basically ignores MC's romance and sexual life aspect and makes it more family friendly), while the LN for Aristocrat Appraisal Skill is more dark with a lot of deaths (like after one of the battles, while in the Manga & Anime MC asks the Lord to not execute the soldiers (who surrendered) they fought against since it was a Civil War and there was no need to shed unnecessary regional blood, but in the LN MC stays quite and let's those soldier who surrender get executed, there are also Manga only character than appear in the Anime).

I believe Lina (yes she has a similar name to Pina lol) was witnessing how horrible she acted and also went into a 'coma' shock similar to Emi but she went into it earlier, I think maybe slightly before she met Emi!Remilia)

The MC is playing 5D chess. I have read this over and over again and never felt bored. This is one of few manga that managed to show a social revenge satisfyingly.

She really does believe that she doesn't deserve this life, this body; she says it three times every chapter: "for Emi"

She knows that the star maiden or will lose her temper, that she'll do something drastic... and I think, I feel like... I believe she is going to take the hit, and let herself be killed, so that Piña gets locked up/executed... and Emi can have the body back.

I truly believe she'll try this, and it's sad to me.
I mean, Emi is a nice girl, and I like her.
But I would marry Remilia in a heartbeat; I like that style of partner, and she's really my kinda girl... even if I'm not super in to Blondes.

I probably wouldn't like this character as much, though, if she wasn't the type to do such a thing...
