why? so far the story was good but suddenly the author wrote a lack of brains and logic into this.....

that note did neither prove that the mc killed vivian nor does it now prove that the dukes foster daughter killed vivian
it doesnt even conclusively prove that vivian tried to kill the mc (unless someone proves first that that is the same gem not just the same type of gem and that vivian is responsible for delivering it to the mc)

all it proves is that the dukes daughter wants to frame vivian for the attempted murder of the mc and (/in order to) frame the mc for the murder of vivian

it makes it likely that the dukes foster daughter killed vivian but so does standing in the mc's room behind the dead vivian because of a arguement no one else on the same floor heard or coincidentaly carrying the receipt to vivians wedding both of which were nicely ignored till now...

also the wedding was halted in the middle so she didnt become queen
if your wedding is halted before the priest says "i declare you....." or before the city employee puts its sign under your marriage form then you are still not married till he does

honestly if this happended in any other run of the mill shojou reincarnation isekai i would merely note this for a lack of logic and move on but this story was realy good so far... so why does the author falter on the finish line of the first major antagonist
the previous 130 chapters had a much higher quality

hopefully it recovers after this crime drama

It does kind of suck that Vivian's whole character has already been written out. They had a dozen priests and none of them even tried to revive her? She was probably still alive when all the people showed up!
