If I understood correctly, OG Raeliana got the black mage to kill off OG Beatrice earlier than predetermined by the Goddess/author. To put herself into Beatrice’s body, OG Raeliana needed to consume that potion at the correct time before Goddess/author put another soul similar to Beatrice into Beatrice’s body.

OG Raeliana was successful and got herself into Beatrice’s body before the Goddess/author could put a new Beatrice into the world. Now there’s an empty Raeliana body so the novel world would naturally put Korean/replacement Beatrice into Raeliana’s body.

Both are in mortal danger bc the laws of the novel world are trying to put the correct soul into the correct body. That’s why only one of them can live bc once you kill off one, the soul is stuck in that body and it won’t fight it.

To be fair, Raeli (or the Korean Raeli) had knowledge that she could blackmail Noah with. We dont know what Raeliana (in Beatrice's body) has knowledge of. This really could have been her only resort. Thats pretty sad.

@meiraeve Not sure. The sorceress said something about needing to not have your real body available(not dead). And I'm not sure if her original body is available anymore cuz she pushed her.
Like, they're having troubles now because original Raeliana's body is still alive, so it's "calling" for the soul to be back and rejecting the new one. But our MC's body could very much be underground by now

Bish that line about thriving in her body and acting like the most pitiful person really hit me. On one hand it sounds true, on the other, this entire story revolves around not being able to go against destiny. So really, it would've happened this way no matter what.
