Her husband is too terrible.
No matter the reasoning and how dumb she is in the past life the husband is still trash. Why the heck something like that can even happen?

"it's not this Clovis yet"
this makes me think she still didn't realise how wrong she was/her fault in her previous life.

I think what she meant here is, "It's not yet the Clovis who was cornered to the point that he felt revolt was necessary and was left with no choice but to kill her". She appointed him as her aide to expand her awareness of the kingdom, and to make sure she made the right decision for her kingdom in this redo.

This is a very interesting, refreshing, and detailed story! I really like the fact that the Princess actually does have to do more than just escape treachery and stay away from her sh@tty ex-husband... she has to make up for her previous neglect of her kindness, sloth, and general dumb@ssery.

And I actually quite like Clovis so far... though he killed her in the past, she kinda did deserve it. (Well... maybe she didn't deserve DEATH but she was a traitor to her country who put her awful man over her people's well-being). I look forward to seeing their relationship flower, with him helping her become a hopefully great queen and her helping him stay away from the chopping princesses route!

Dumb People + Love = Dumber Decisions.

There's a rebellion and you hides WHILE hangs around with your Mistress??? And you let your Queen to cover for your ass while you RAN AWAY WITH YOUR MISTRESS??? Wow, shitty-dumb-coward King spotted. No wonder that kingdom falls. Am I wrong for hoping he died stupidly while running away? Like a big chunk of the castle fell on top of his empty head.

About Alicia, I think she has a love-Stockholm syndrome which evolves into Hero-Worship syndrome on Fritz. Looking at it she's a princess of a defeated country, marrying into the country that basically trampled hers, moving in to live where she's surrounded by enemies no wonder she latch on to the nearest possible person who could give her affection-protection which is the person she married. He's her "savior" and because she loves him, he could do no wrong.

This dumbass already don't know what she was killed for... ???

My impression got better towards the end but she still reeks of stupidity tho.

she really was so heavily traumatised that she looked like she was hyperventilating when she first saw him (understandable), and then just bc he smiled at her and he's looked down on for his lineage all of a sudden she wants him to stick to her side like glue??? wow, im so disappointed by how they just threw her PTSD out of the window. so did him killing her have no impact on her or not??? make up your mind, man.

and "he is just like me", no... no, being hated bc your granddad massacred people and being hated because YOU gave up on your wholeass country for a man that didn't even love you are two VERY different things.

My problem with this kind of setting is this:
If the guy who killed her is the ML, how is that logical ? Even if she was blinded by love and the ML was righteous or whatever, there is no way you can ever feel safe and forget the trauma of being killed by this guy. I'm not saying it's impossible to collaborate with him for the sake of the kingdom, that's okay but loving him and forgetting the past is impossible no matter who the person is

It seems a bit weird for this story to be tagged Villainess when in her original life, it seems like the only crime she committed was letting herself be used? It's not like she enacted evil laws or something (I guess as far as we know), she was just sheltered and ignorant but still didn't seem to actually be a bad person.

she's a bit too dumb to let her tyrant husband leave with his lover while she stays there to die. yeah... I think I'm gonna drop this too. beautiful art and solid translation though

This world must be magical. I mean, how come a PTSD that just start showing its grip be thrown out of the question in one go unless it's the work of magic?
