was it ever mentioned before that he was the demon lord? because i don't remember and i don't feel like going back to check. for now i will say that i am marginally surprised by this somewhat expectable revelation. i would have thought the demon lord was the one who sent them to kill the hero and not just them taking reckless initiative. then again i don't remember much of this story other than it exists.

???? what? bruv you sure you ain't got the wrong story here? or was this from the novel because there has been no such information like this revealed in this manga and that's something i clearly remember. in this manga the only thing mentioned about him is his father is a noble and that his mother was a concubine. if this is info from the novel, you should probably put up a spoiler tag to avoid problems with the more spoiler sensitives.

It happens from time to time. Most of the time it's about cooperating and throwing this demons vs humans shit away to create their own fates.

imma be real with you, i completely forgot everything involving other peoples' povs. i also didn't bother going past chapter 1 while checking since the mc is a reincarnator and i thought if anyone would have mentioned that, it would be himself. honestly, aside from the most basic information, i don't remember any details of this story. so i admit i was wrong earlier.

Wut... With that wishy-washy "background story" that was dumped on us, in an attempt to "humanise" this particular set of fanatics bent on wholesale murder just to "draw out" their "Enemy"?

The author would served the story much better by portraying them as the straight up bastards they are.
It's almost as if he's personally apologetic to write up/think up any actual villains with a clear purpose.
Wouldn't have made one shred of difference for the "reveal" that the MC is classed as a Demon Lord.
