@Anonyan @lomy

I thought the same thing....

The opening of the story is making the MC one of those braindead and delusional character.
Could be better, we can't feel any sympathy cause the MC himself is not worth it.

The novel was basically "The slice of life of the edgy emo soul eater" now I really despise how people use the word edgy everywhere, but it fits perfectly for this character.

With the art being mediocre as well, this shit ain't got no hope at all.

Nothing about the story makes sense.

Wtf?

And none of the logic is explained. At all!

The comments are so intense! These are some one sided charades... lol

I don’t know if it’s good plot/story since it’s only the beginning. Why don’t you guy just join me and patiently wait for the free new chapters. There’s a lot of manga that do start like this and ends up being good and I think that is the reason why the artist is working on it, don’t ya think? Idk I’m not the artist.

Well keep up the good work!

Would recommend letting it build up updates and then binge read it. Plot is painfully slow (as for now).

Revenge plot not justified. But art style is good. Honestly is revenge plot the thing now and not isekai anymore?

So he's got a couple of revenge targets, some not justified. His family was unnecessarily vicious about kicking him out, though I do believe it was the right choice as these families are the defenders of humanity and spending time to train a useless kid and throwing him into world-class levels of danger is dumb. The adventure guild is 10000% in the right, the fucker of an MC stayed at the lowest level for the last 3 YEARS without even attempting to go up to rank 9/10, it was also stated that this was an incredibly easy task and only costs 1 silver coin (which for some reason he doesn't have and never explained why). That party is complete dogshit, the MC should have been cut off because he was basically trying to play as a level 1 player in a level 30 party which is the very definition of a leech (though the way they did it was excessively ruthless). He was later used as bait when the party that split off from him was being chased by a world-class level monster and they just happened to see each other in the forest while running. The whole baiting thing is very lowkey justified because the sacrifice of an LVL 1 player for the survival of a renowned upcoming rank C party and the information of the whereabouts of this monster being relayed back to the guild, especially since the monster is known for his high reproductive ability and how it can wipe out kingdoms like it's nothing using sheer numbers.

This is complete dogshit. They even brought in a big oppai loli from opposing race of humanity to basically help with his revenge against these evil humans. I don't even know who he's meant to be taking revenge against and whether he should. The family helps protect everyone by dedicating their entire family to learning incredibly difficult techniques for the slaying of absurdly high level monsters, the adventure guild did nothing more than provide incredible privelages for 3 years and only asked for 1 silver coins (which he once again failed to someone afford), the party is probably the best target for his revenge.

I'm willing to bet that this demon girl was either sacrificed to keep their village alive, or was thrown away as a princess of the demon kingdom.

The art is pretty good though :)

Well I'm up to date with the light novel, so I thought let's answer to this thread, the LN is translated to Spanish so some names might be different.

People from Onigashima Island

Sora Mitsurugi: Main character, pretty much the only members of his family who cared for him were his mother, the second wife of his father and little brother. His mother passed away while he was training, so he couldn't see her one last time. The second wife was a really good friend of his mother so his mother asked her to look after him, she cared for him but as she was now the first wife he thought she stole the place of his mother, so he just didn't want to see her. The little brother saw how his mother was worried about the MC, so he just began to hate him.

Shikibu Mitsurugi: Sora's father, he just appears to be a dick, as far as we know he only cared about the clan mission. Pretty much he decides everything on the island.

Shizuya Mitsurugi: MC mother passed away while he was away training.

Emma Mitsurugi: Second wife (now legal wife) She was a good friend of his mother and really cared about the MC.

Reguna Mitsurugi: MC little brother, began to hate the MC because his mother was concerned about the MC, replaced the MC as the next clan head and it is hinted that he also was jealous of the MC because he was in love with the MC fiancé.

Ayaka Azurite: MC ex fiancé: is hinted in the third volume that she cares about him and that's why she told him he should stop training after leaving the island. Her power is called after a legendary bird who hunt dragons, so we have some foreshadowing for the next volume.

Goz Cima: MC instructor pretty much took care of him with his little sister

Cecil Cima: Goz little sister after the MC was banished she married Shikibu (MC father).

Kuraia Beruhi: one of the seven youth called the golden age. She doesn't have any kind of animosity towards the MC because after she and his little brother were adopted into the Beruhi family he was the only one who treated them normally.

Klimt Beruhi: one of the seven youth called the golden age. Pretty much arrogant because hi is stronger than the other young people on the island.

People from the city

Lars: Leader of the party, pretty much an idealist.

Iria: priest/monk of the party, Lars childhood friend

LunaMaria: elf and mage of the party. Went outside the forest to get knowledge about the world.

Miroslav (Miro); Witch of the party, she is in love with Lars. She hates men because his father a rich merchant was a dick who had a lot of lovers because he likes women and was trying to make an heir when her mother gave birth to her because he was mad at her mother because the baby was a girl he gave her a male name.
Pretty much she was the reason the MC was spelled from the party. She used her family influence so a worker from a bar invited him to the bar and gave him a special seat while she, Iria and LunaMaria were there, and she then started calling him badmouthing him and started calling him parasite this broke the MC and LunaMaria relationship.

Cecil: half beast, slave. MC bought her to be bait in his revenge against his ex party.

Suzune: Kijin saved by the MC, last member of her village.

The revenge

LunaMaria: MC used Cecil as bait to taunt Lars, they make a bet to a duel if Lars wins MC will release Cecil, if Lars lose LunaMaria will become MC's slave. Lars lost horribly and she becomes MC slave. In the last volume we get to know that she probably is in love with the MC.

Miro: MC kidnap her, eat her soul (he eats souls by kissing his prey). Then they make a deal, she will make the party disband to separate Lars and Iria, so she gets to be with Lars. Fast-forward she separate Lars and Iria and stops being in love with Lars and falls for the MC.

Iria: She left Lars in the city to go back to their village because of a pandemic. The MC takes advantage of this goes to their village first with medicine and gains the trust from everybody in the village, later the village elder ask them to investigate because there have been sightings of orcs near the village. Both of them go to investigate and found about 100 orcs, MC paralyzes her and tell her that there are too many, so he is going to ask for reinforcements, and she needs to be the "bait" uses light magic so the orcs notices them and tells her that orcs uses females to mate (like in Goblin Slayer) so if she doesn't move she will probably live. She asks for forgiveness and pledge loyalty to him.

Lars: he doesn't realize anything and pretty much is training in his village after being sick because of the pandemic.

In the last volume the MC is going to the island after Kuraia, Klimt and Goz tries to kill Suzune because Kijin are the servants of the demon sealed near the island.
The MC didn't want to know about the island but now they know he is with a Kijin probably assassins are going to come after her, so she takes Kuraia as a hostage after defeating the three of them and tells Klimt and Goz to tell his father that Suzune is a good Kijin and that if she becomes evil he will take care of her.

He really doesn't care about the people on the island he just wanted affection, he trained hard and once he was vanished nobody showed sadness, the siblings who took him were like "oh you're leaving the island bye" so he wanted to be a famous adventurer to show them he wasn't worthless

the story isnt supposed to make sense at first hes a young kid, traumatized by others and has the guilt of knowing hed be forever weak. this is like this to build psychological pressure on his life because hes still young and never experienced these things before. his sense of values are what prevented him from ranking up as well as he was demoted so it damaged him mentally. because he couldnt improve hed just lose more for trying to rank up again. its about a downward spiral until he finally obtains what he wants a power to belong and help others.

This manga starts out nice but is really becomes a crap to read based on my reading of light novel. The story seems to resemble Arifureta and shield hero to a large extent. The MC personality and the harem all are very similar to Arifureta and Shield hero as well. Personally didn't like it much

I don't like this premise. Arifureta and Shield Hero worked because they did nothing wrong. I was fine with the island banishment, but the fact that you can't pay one silver coin in three years with the pipe dream of being the strongest, all while collecting herbs is just fucking embarrassing.
