More money doesn't mean faster, it just means they make more money, and can potentially hire another assistant (who typcially only work on helping clean, ink, and backgrounds, and occasionally domestic taskes as well, and never main art). Even monthly manga artists work for 10+ hours a day, every day.

the life of manga lies on storyboard, the reason some monthly manga can have very nice settings is because they have time to plan it to be good. while for weekly manga, only few ppl can pull off the same quality. it doesnt always go straight with how much money poured into it
