basically, Mary becomes increasingly mentally unstable and is more dangerous to her comrades then the imperials are, so she gets the Roman Senate treatment from her friends in a hospital

Ok... I'm not reading THAT far... by Roman Senate treatment you mean is Julius Caesar treatment, right? and you think the Gods would be wisened up enough not to send and outright saint to this world since this kind of thing happened before (mentioned in about ch 3 I guess). Tanya could handle such power since she's rather logical and reserved, thanks to her actual(mind) age of beyond 30. but give a youngster more power than they deserved is certainly natural for them to kinda lose themselves, as we could see with Mary here who outright thinks she could do all that her senior could do. Not enough humility at all.
