Yeah, If I remember, he wanted to Nuke the Chinese crossing the border as well as the NK forces. He was fired for the thought. I think it was McArthur, probably remembering someone else. All I know is that he was really bomb-happy when it came to war.

can you blame McArthur idea when you watch your solider get slaughter by a uncaring enemy were they rush tank with nothing but inf to try kill the tank by burning it out that pretty nasty and fuck up way to kill a tank. though why MacArthur want to nuke china is it did declare war which by laws of war weapon like nukes can be use.

The one thing i dislike about the manga is its overpraise of capitalism (at the end of the day, every country needs most of their industries handled privately, but there neeeeds to be restrictions)
But maybe that’s a given considering who the mc is, huh

Also, macarthur is merely decent as far as strategic skill - i mean, pla just finished mopping up the american backed kmt, and are looking at north korea super warily because 1. valuable ally who helped (at least, valuable before getting bombed to dust) and 2. wayyyy too fucking close to home

Weiss learned one thing when speaking with Tanya: Don't ever speak in a way that confuse Tanya or Vishna is gonna hit you hard in the guts. (Seriously, Weiss reaction in the background after getting hit by Vishna was fun to watch!)

The warship shown appears to be Helgoland class , in case anyone was wondering. They were built irl between 1908 and 1912, so they're somewhat outdated, given HMS Hood is apparently in the field at the same time, but then again aircraft tech has also been somewhat haphazard with WWI biplane interceptors fighting alongside WWII Stukas. The next shot shows two of the same Helgoland class alongside what appears to be a Nassau class.

In the anime, they show a single Bayern-class. I think we can safely assume that the Empire is fielding all of WW1 Germany's dreadnoughts.

@ThatRabidPotato yeah, that makes sense and seems accurate with what I've seen in this since. The only major deviation was the Entente fielding a project-26 Kirov class ship when there's already a Russian equivalent nation, and the ship itself is late-interwar (albeit the alternative if they needed a cruiser as the capital ship is even newer: the Tre Kronor class of ~1944).
