yea don't blame the piece of shit prince in anyway for not staying loyal to you it's 100% the girl from another world who doesn't understand the customs of this world who is at fault...

she seems like a smart and nice girl so why is she not only engaged to the cunt but also defending him so hard, really makes her come off as two-faced. wouldn't surprise me if she later turns out to be an evil manipulator.

Liz is totally in the wrong here. Period. How is any of this Aira's fault? She was fucking kidnapped and don't know shit about this world she is in and yet this bitch has the audacity to call her ''that thing'', fuck her. If something her scumbad fiancee she defended is the one to blame.

@Riri, "that thing" is the fiancee & Sei calls her "that thing", not Liz. Go through the LN, you'll realize a lot of things are not that bad. <spoiler>They did not put any heavy drama, at least not till the translated LN</spoiler>

You know what? If you don't like the way someone from another world behaves, don't effing kidnap them.

You're not going to find much sympathy for puritanical values here in general anyway. "Nobody corrected her?" More like, she's not the one in the wrong.

@Doomer @Riri You really should read the book, liz isnt the one at fault here, its the princes fault. "That thing" is what Sei calls the prince because shes ticked off about him, if anything Sei is actually the one who is rude during this conversation, although its completely justified.

Its ends up making a lot more sense once you see an encounter between Liz and Aira from Aira's perspective, hopefully that makes it into the manga.

@cherokeemoon @icekatze bear in mind Liz is the only girl at the school who knows Aira was summoned, and shes concerned about how the other girls at the school, who think Aira is a commoner thot are in conflict with their fiance's, who are treating Aira as a pet.

Sei is 100% in the right to be worried about Aira - they were both forced to come to this world and while they both have different circumstances on how they adapted, they are both worthy of our sympathy (imo). Sei is older, and therefore has slightly more shit together, and her adaptation was slower and she got to reach out to things under her own terms (from joining the research centre to making potions). Aira was basically taken in under the wings of the first prince and it seems like, from how the manga is framing it, gets dragged along wherever the prince goes/is, and he's her 'protector'. Aira is basically being forced into the role of the Saintess and Sei knows that's wrong.

I feel like Sei should probably meet and have a talk with Aira. As the only other otherworlder and a senpai in life, this would probably help the likely disoriented girl settle in a bit better.

As expected, kidnapping someone and bringing them to an entirely foreign place without consent means you're going to have to deal with their culture not matching yours. Can't really blame the students not in the know, but they really should've anticipated this.

This fucking prince though. He keeps causing problems whatever he does. Liz is too good for him. I wonder if we'll see her get made out to be the "villainess" if she confronts Aira to explain?

It may be that they really are concerned about Aira's well being and just want to clear up misunderstandings, but that's not how it's being framed in their conversation. It's being framed as "She probably doesn't know it's unacceptable to be close with men because no one told her." Like if she knew the "correct" way to act, then she wouldn't act "incorrectly." Blaming the victim.

Take away someone's friends, family, way of life; force them to risk their life fighting terrifying monsters for one's own benefit, but they're the ones in the wrong for getting some basic human companionship.

I want to hope the manga is going to have Aura be a nice girl but I know she will probably be the usual fake and selfish heroin typical of this kind of manga 😒

ah~ It's been a while since he popped up so I forgot how much I hAAte that prince~

idk if they will show it in the manga
but the prince has been "coddling" Aira the whole time she has been in that world, not allowing her any time to herself, not allowing her any agency to figure out things in the world they are in now even if she herself tries, the prince doesn't let anyone know of her status as an isekai'd person, and the prince and co. are actively running interference with the ladies assuming they are just jealous of the girl. Couple that with Aira being much younger and inexperienced with life in general than Sei and it causes a lot of issues~

@ cairy_beltane check out the LN
she is a nice girl and isn't that kind of mean, selfish heroine at all. it's all a big misunderstanding/culture divide caused by the idiot prince

I have to say that its refreshing to see a present day cultural 'normality' being a stumbling stone in a medieval culture. Usually in isekai, it rarely ever comes up unless its a comedy point.

I'm counting down the chapters until the prince attempts to rape Aira.

With his personality being as rotten as it is, he probably thinks he "deserves" to bed the supposed Saintess.
