I hate early tsunderes. When they just act in a bipolar manner without any pretense.

There should be a progression on the tsundereness like > strangers > nemesis > love-hate relationship (peak tsundere) > deredere (doesn't matter if there's tsun elements left still)

Then again, it is a one shot. So this probably started midway in the story or something and author can still play with how he/she deliver it.

@VladDracul2 The difference is that it would need to start somewhere and going by power dynamics, she wasn't forced into it at all.
Like, you could give some vague explanations about how vampires can smell tastier blood and that she either protects him from other vampires or there just no other vampires nearby to notice him, but I'm pretty sure that she is just tsun.
