Hmmm. I mean, the art is gorgeous... but there’s nothing really spectacular about this particular “villaness otome”. With the staggering amount of titles in this genre, there needs to be an interesting premise/hook and some sort of conflict. I don’t really see any conflict here besides the generic ‘avoid death’ thing that’s typical with this genre. And it’s even established that both the MC and ML have feelings for each other already.

So it seems that she is going to actually go off and play Sim City in her dad's territory, while the
prince is hitting all the flag events and stuff...

I think the misunderstanding at the end of Chapter 2 would be an interesting point of conflict that gives the reasoning for the prince to start actually thinking about breaking the engagement... I mean, the guy already went on a date with the Heroine and gave that girl flowers. That's a trash thing to do and get caught doing.

@fmriver I actually question whether the prince does have memory of the "date" he's been with. What are the odds that the misunderstanding card is being used again? I hate that though, its annoying lol it makes the story weirdly indecisive. In a level.

she doesnt have any friends so making her the scapegoat for the bullying of the heroine seems rather hard
so as long as she utters and repeats the wish for the prince to get a better wife and stays away from the heroine she should be fine
but she is still hung up on notions like good and bad ending

also the prince feels sus to me a bit too
-obsessive while being pretty lax himself,
-a bit to quick to debunk the statement of the butler in chapter 3 ( research it at least not just one look and done, it is literally the chance or idea of a lifetime for her, even if its not true )
-and doesn't realy care about the mc's feelings and wishes
or lets just say the care i would show a disabled person close to me that is depressed about being disabled would be a whole lot different

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, his character design makes him look like the “playboy 2nd prince” but he’s actually really good from what we’ve seen so far. Just from the cover art I got kind of a bad feeling but I’m still hoping that the Fmc ends up with the prince
