I don't hate him and I think he's written very well; the strong characterization comes through even when the TL is confusing. All the personality he's shown -both light and cruel - fit together in someone who isn't likeable but still someone I can empathize with. He's obnoxious and racist, but don't think he's irredeemable.

That said good god, he's the poster child for a youngest child. This is what happens when you send the baby of the family to war. I want to call up my brother irl and slap him a couple times bc all this clueless, inappropriate, self centered attention whoring reminds me of him. That shit ain't cute. You lost some one, but he lost someone too.
