i hate her comics. 110% navel-gazing melodrama, occasionally over-emphasized with predictable dark "twist" at the end.

(sure, authors like yokoyari mengo also rely exclusively on things like that, but in her case the characters can be actually interesting)

That ending seemed so random. I was thinking it'd end with something along the lines of the Mermaid taking the Princess with her to escape from her position. Maybe something like the Mermaid turning the Princess into a Mermaid also.

Its shinoa, so you need a bad ending. Still, personally i think, that this ending is a way better choice than doing some generic shit
